Portfolio Class

Build a Strong Portfolio.

Our Portfolio Class is designed for Year 9-13 students who are interested in pursuing further study in Art, Design, Architecture and other creative fields.

Led by Tessie from TT Design, the programme provides structured, individual guidance to help students develop their creative skills, build a strong body of work and prepare a portfolio that reflects their own ideas, strengths and future study goals.

Students are encouraged to start preparing early, particularly from Year 10, allowing enough time to explore different creative directions, strengthen technical skills and gradually develop high-quality portfolio work.

NCEA, Cambridge & IB Support

The programme can support students studying NCEA, Cambridge or IB, with guidance tailored to their individual current level and future goals.

Rather than simply completing individual artworks, students learn how to develop ideas from initial research and sketches through experimentation, refinement and final presentation.

University & Creative Pathway Preparation

For senior students, portfolio development can also be planned around their intended university course or creative pathway, helping them understand what they need to prepare and how to manage their portfolio timeline effectively.

Individual Guidance

Every student's portfolio is different. Students receive personalised feedback based on their current work, interests, strengths and intended direction.

Our goal is to help students develop not only a stronger portfolio, but also greater confidence in their creative thinking and a clearer understanding of where their skills can take them.
