Our Chinese programme helps students build a strong foundation in Pinyin, pronunciation and character recognition, while progressively developing their skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Lessons are designed according to each student’s age and Chinese level, helping students establish solid language foundations before moving towards more advanced reading comprehension and written expression.

Reading & Character Recognition

Students gradually build their Chinese vocabulary and character recognition, progressing from words and simple sentences to longer texts.

Reading activities focus on fluency, vocabulary, comprehension and understanding key information, helping students become more confident and independent readers.

Chinese Writing

Students develop their writing skills from basic character formation and sentence construction to paragraphs and more structured pieces of writing.

Lessons focus on vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure and organising ideas clearly.

Listening & Speaking

Through conversation, stories and interactive activities, students develop stronger listening skills and greater confidence using Chinese in everyday situations.

Language & Culture

Students also explore Chinese stories, festivals, traditions and culture, making language learning more engaging and meaningful.
